Jim Cramer Jim Cramer owner and founder of Spirit Tours has a BA in Anthropology started his travels in 1970 on a surf trip to South Africa and continued on to South America, the South Pacific, New Zealand and Australia. In 1974 he traveled to Bali and soon after became a student of Balinese dance. After 8 years of study Jim performed in the temples of Bali and continues to dance to this day. Jim returned to the USA in 1985 and created his own Bali Travel Business and founded Spirit Tours in 2000.
Dottie Cramer is co founder of Spirit Tours and is in charge of tour development and quality control. Dottie has lived in Hawaii and travelled worldwide. She has co led tours to Bali, Thailand, Mexico, Africa and New Zealand. Her presence on our Journeys adds to the integrity and authenticity we are known for. Dottie Cramer
Tim Made Omi Timothy Made' Omi grew up with one foot out the door. The first five years of his life were spent at his family's grass hut in Bali. Being on the road with his parents, from a very young age, gave him a taste for the wonder of travel. "When I am pushed beyond my comfort zone it makes me be present, observing all the different tastes, smells and energy of the natural surroundings. It makes me feel alive". Made' feels that through these types off awakening moments he has been able to deepen his spiritual practice and grow as a more conscious individual. That is why he is a great addition to our Spirit Tours team. He has led tours to Bali, Thailand, Costa Rica, and Japan.

 

Edward Rev. Dr. Edward Viljoen has been senior minister of the Center for Spiritual Living, Santa Rosa since 1995. In 2003, he was awarded an honorary Doctoral Degree in Divinity from Holmes Institute. Our first tour with Edward was to Bali in 1994. Since then Edward has co lead tours to Africa, Mexico, Costa Rica (3), Thailand (2), and Bali (5) tours. Lori Furbush E-RYT RMT is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance, a certified Reiki Master Teacher, and a certified Level II Qigong Teacher. Lori’s teaching style draws from her broad experience with world-renowned yogis such as Rodney Yee, Sarah Powers, Judith Hanson Lasater, Sharon Gannon, David Life, and accomplished qigong masters Sifu Michael Rinaldini of Sebastopol, California, and master Wan Su-Wan of Bejing, China. A natural-born teacher and healer, Lori creates a nurturing environment that invites exploration of body, mind, and soul, encouraging students to discover their own wisdom within. Helen Mcgee Helen Mcgee began her journey with yoga in the early 80’s and has been teaching since 1996. She completed her Teacher Training program with Erich Schiffmann and has been privileged to do advanced studies in Anusara with John Friend, Viniyoga with Sri T.K.V. Desikachar, Power yoga with Bryan Kest, and Jivamukti yoga with David Life. Helen joyfully blends these styles into a Vinyasa Flow practice that improves flexibility, strength, awareness, and most importantly acceptance. Rev. David Phears is the Community Spiritual Leader of Sangha Center for Spiritual Living Hunington Beach California. Dr. Phears is no stranger to trials and tribulations. He attributes God, spiritual principles and the tool of spiritual practice for the many miraculous healings in his life. Spiritual tools such as the spiritual m.a.p. {meditation, affirmations and prayer}, when he was lost or confused provided the mental vehicles and emotional mechanisms through which he was able to heal his inner and outer wounds. Rev. Tammy Miller Rev. Tammy Miller is an Associate Minister and Executive Director for Seaside Center for Spiritual Living in San Diego California. Along with her ministerial contributions, as Executive Director she manages the Finances, Operations and Staffing for Seaside. She has been the minister for the Amazing Grace Wednesday Night Service since 2002 and her passion is to live with a deep divine connection with all of life and share it generously. Rev. Tammy has been at Seaside since 1992. She has a B.A. in Religious Studies. Ministry is what she does but her connection with God is who she is.
Rev. Dr. Kim Kaiser is the Director of Education at the Center for Spiritual Living, Santa Rosa. He is also Academic and Regional Dean for the Holmes Institute School of Consciousness Studies. Dr. Kim has studied metaphysics, both in its Christian and Buddhist forms, all his life. He is an ordained priest in the Soto School of Zen Buddhism as well as minister of Religious Science. He has a particular interest in western and eastern philosophy, religion, and science. Dr. Kim co led our tour to Japan in 2008 and is our tour leader for the upcoming trip in October. Rev. Bonnie Clark Bonnie Clark has practiced as a certified massage therapist since 1992. In 1993 she earned her certificate as a yoga instructor with Ingegrative Yoga therapy. Bonnie holds additional certificates in inner sound healing and Reiki. Her mission is to help you experience the freedom, joy and peace that is innately your true Self thru pain relief and stress reduction. Joanie Lane RMT,CLC,CSC,CMT is a Reiki Master Teacher and Meditation Teacher. She holds Certifications as a Life Coach, Spiritual Coach and Advisor, Massage Therapist, and is a Certified Leader in Wisdom Healing Qigong. Her personal experiences with overcoming suffering through loss and illness has been her catalyst in her dedication to bringing harmony to the world through the individuals she teaches. A natural healer, Joanie expresses sincere loving-kindness in her teachings and is eager to help others find their own inner light. She received her training from many well respected teachers including Reiki Master Teacher Lori Furbush and internationally renowned Qigong Master Mingtong Gu who himself received training from many Grandmasters in China. Summer Rathswohl received her yoga certification in 1999. She also practices as a certified nutritionist and runs her own natural products brokerage while residing in Southern California. At the early age of four, her parents influenced her exploration of meditation and yoga through the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda. Other mentors contributing to her practice include, Rama Berch, Peri Ness, Rached Maalouf, Erich Schiffmann, and Tim Miller. Summer brings a calm grace and nurturing energy to her classes allowing others to relax into their practice. Her deep interest of nature, health, and yoga has allowed her to work and teach with top resorts and wellness centers such as The Chopra Center for Well Being and the Golden Door in San Diego. Tshering Jamtsho Tshering Jamtsho fom Bhutan can be rated among the first well-trained tour leaders in the country. He has extensive knowledge in the field of tourism in Bhutan. His knowledge of Buddhism, Bhutanese culture, history and environment has earned him many friends around the globe and through these networks he has also been invited as a guest speaker to speak at the California institute of Integral Studies on Buddhism and local Bhutanese deities.
